Already practising with a parent, or starting from the beginning? Our Clermont lessons build on what you know and identify the skills that need more attention.

Learn to read what is happening around you

Safe speed, following distance, mirror checks and early hazard recognition are central to instruction. We introduce driving situations progressively, helping you connect vehicle control with good judgement.

Know the next step

Your end-of-lesson assessment records progress, strengths and areas for practice. Parents receive a copy, giving them a clear picture of what to work on between lessons. Test preparation can focus on the skills that need attention.

Personal instruction for teens and adults

Darren and Lynne Bateson are both the owners and the instructors. They teach patiently, in dual-control 2027 Kia Seltos vehicles, with each lesson matched to the student’s current skills and confidence.

Price and pickup

Your first two-hour lesson is $150 as a new student; regular lessons are $199. Each includes instruction, discussion and assessment. Ask about pickup and drop-off in Clermont. Arrangements depend on location and scheduling; any extra travel cost outside the usual catchment is discussed and agreed in advance.

Planning your driving test?

Ask about our $199 Road Test Concierge: a one-hour warm-up lesson, use of the instructor’s vehicle for the test, and a ride home or to school afterwards.
